Langoustines (aka Nephrops norvegicus) are a delicious species of cold-water prawn, sometimes called scampi. Langoustines look like crawfish, but they are a smaller relative of the lobster, and equally prized for their sweet tail meat.

Small (6-8 per lb.), Medium (4-5 per lb.), Large (3-4 per lb.), 4 packs, 3.3 lbs. per pack (approximately 13-15 lbs.)

  • Head On
  • Wild Caught
  • Individually vacuum sealed
  • Frozen

Store frozen packs in your freezer until you’re ready to use them, then thaw only as much as you plan on cooking.

Thawing Tips

Whole langoustines may be boiled in heavily salted water for 3-4 minutes. Serve them with a side of aioli for dipping. To grill or broil langoustines, split them in half lengthwise and brush with butter. Langoustines can also be used for paella.
