While many shrimp are treated with chemicals to add water weight or extend their shelf-life and appearance, these shrimp are the highest quality gulf shrimp and have never been chemically treated.

Store frozen shrimp in your freezer until you're ready to use them, then thaw only as much as you plan on cooking.

Thawing Tips

Shrimp cook quickly in rapidly boiling water, needing no more than two minutes. Add lemon, herbs, spices or other aromatics and cook just until the meat turns opaque. Avoid overcooking, which toughens the flesh. Use boiled shrimp in shrimp cocktails or atop salads. Gulf shrimp can be breaded or battered and deep-fried. They can also be barbecued.
